Project study
A study starts from three things: what happens in the room, how big it is, and whether it already exists. The form below builds a brief you copy. This edition sends no message.
What this gate is
A useful brief separates a wished capacity from the capacity the rake and the code allow. It names whether success is intelligible speech, music, image, or a cleared floor.
If there is no drawing, approximate dimensions are enough if the sentence says they are approximate. A study that invents precision it does not have is worse than one that says “not known yet”.
What is published now
Brief fields
Venue, place, capacity, condition, scope, and the note.
Local copy
The brief is kept in your browser so it is not lost while you write.
No price
There is no money line in the result.
No product
The form suggests no model number.
When to open this gate
Before the first meeting
So the time is not spent defining the word.
When comparing bids
The same brief is sent to both parties.
Not to request a catalogue
A catalogue without a room is not a study.
How to read the subject
- 01
Write what must succeed, not what you want to buy.
- 02
Say whether the place is new or existing.
- 03
Put capacity as a wish, not a fact, if there is no section.
- 04
Copy the text and attach a drawing when you have one.
What this gate does not do
Capacity from dividing the area
It contradicts the sightline. The calculator warns for that reason.
A scope of “everything”
It prevents an honest price.
Believing it was sent
This edition only copies.
BoxTech O2mea — PROJECT BRIEF Venue type: — Location: — Approximate capacity: — Condition: New Scope: — Notes: — Name: — Phone: — Email: — This is a preliminary brief. It has no prices and no product specifications. A study needs a plan or dimensions, and the intended use.
Questions designers and owners ask
Does the brief reach a team?
Not automatically. Copy it and send it by your own channel. No email is published here.
Do I receive a design?
The brief starts a study. A design is a section and a calculation, not a paragraph.
What if I do not know the volume?
Write approximate length, width and height, and say they are approximate.
Do you store my data?
In this browser only, under a local key. There are no user accounts.
Which page do I read before the form?
The library page closest to your problem: RT60, isolation, or sightline.

Turn the question into a brief
A study starts from room volume, use, and existing condition, not from a product name. Fill the brief and copy it.
