Theatre and hall design

Stadium interiors

The general bowl is not the box. Glass, service and the door are drawn with the seat.

Stadium interiors — stadium seating by BOXTECH
A photograph from the published archive of halls, grounds and seats. It is not a generated image, and it does not mean BoxTech O2mea built the project.

A ground that is lived in, not a facade that is photographed

A stadium interior starts from the sector: general, density, media, hospitality, access. Each sector has a seat family, a pitch and an aisle. Colour is checked in the sun and on the broadcast camera, not on an office screen. A box is a room inside that ground: glass that does not reflect the ceiling, an entrance that does not pass through the public if it is VVIP, and food service from behind.

The interior of a royal box or a hospitality box fails if it is copied from a hotel with no sightline. The sitter came for the match. Joinery that rises in front of the eye is rejected even if it is rich. BoxTech keeps the seat family name. boxtech draws the room around it, with isolation so the door can close on the noise when people need to talk.

Final figures come from the drawing, the current manufacturer datasheet and a test of the room. This page is a design method, not a performance certificate and not a price.

Coordination sequence

Theatre, hall and stadium design starts with the brief, then the geometry, then the seat, then the interior. Reversing that order produces a picture, not a room.

Sightline, exit and eye height come before timber colour and the length of the masking. A box is a room. The bowl is a sector. One is not named as the other.

boxtech coordinates these layers for the seat, and for isolation or an event where they are part of the job. The architect signs the building. These pages do not replace that signature.

This clause goes into the bill of quantities, with the signatory and the date of the test after installation: The sector before the colour board.

This clause goes into the bill of quantities, with the signatory and the date of the test after installation: Glass checked from the seated position.

This clause goes into the bill of quantities, with the signatory and the date of the test after installation: Service that does not cut the row.

Mistakes that repeat

  • A bowl seat inside a box sold as a room.
  • Reflective glass discovered on match night.

Questions about this type

Does the stadium interior include the steel stand?

Coordination, yes. The structural calculation, no. boxtech checks upright seat width if the stand is telescopic, seat material if it is outdoors, and the accessible route if it is fixed. Steel thickness is signed by the structural engineer. We do not publish it from this page.

Catalogue seats coordinated with this type

The seats shown are catalogue families in their own photographs, chosen with this type on the drawing, not from a separate picture.
