Events and stands
Exhibition stand
From brief to strike: frame, skin, screen, seating and power, as numbered parts.

A stand is struck the way it is built
The path is: brief, concept, drawing, materials, fabrication, transport, install, the days of the show, then strike. Waiting seats are part of the stand, not chairs borrowed on opening night that block the aisle. A screen, if there is one, is checked at the visitor’s standing distance, not at a hall distance. Power from the hall is a known limit. It is not exceeded with extra cabinets.
Storage after strike needs the volume of parts, not a photograph of the stand standing. Whoever does not draw the crate is surprised by the warehouse bill. An institutional hall photograph in the archive is context only. It is not an exhibition stand we built.
Final figures come from the drawing, the current manufacturer datasheet and a test of the room. This page is a design method, not a performance certificate and not a price.
Coordination sequence
An event is a contract in time: install, then strike. Seat, cable and screen are drawn with the visitor’s path, not across it. Power stays inside the hall’s limit. Storage is calculated on the parts, not on a photograph of the stand standing.
A booth is not promised full isolation in an open hall. An outdoor pavilion is shade, drainage and a material that tolerates dust. Temporary hospitality is struck the next day and is not called a royal box.
The exit comes before the capacity is sold. The ground that exists comes before a catalogue fixing. A stand is not attributed to the office unless the project is documented.
This clause goes into the bill of quantities, with the signatory and the date of the test after installation: A power drawing inside the hall’s limit.
This clause goes into the bill of quantities, with the signatory and the date of the test after installation: A waiting seat out of the visitor’s path.
This clause goes into the bill of quantities, with the signatory and the date of the test after installation: Storage volume after strike.
Mistakes that repeat
- A cable across the aisle because the screen was late on the drawing.
Questions about this type
Do you build the whole stand?
Coordination and fabrication are possible within the contract: frame, joinery, screen, sound and seating. We do not claim every stand in the market. A project is named only if it is documented.
Catalogue seats coordinated with this type
The seats shown are catalogue families in their own photographs, chosen with this type on the drawing, not from a separate picture.
- Conference boothA meeting table and a counted number of seats. Sound is a point source, not an array.
- Temporary loungeA platform for a tournament or a gala that comes down after the night, with a hospitality seat, not a bowl seat.
- Outdoor pavilionShade, a floor and a seat that tolerates dust. Not an air-conditioned room planted in the sun.
