Events and stands
Conference booth
A meeting table and a counted number of seats. Sound is a point source, not an array.

A booth is a small temporary room
A conference booth is a table, two or four seats, and a curtain or a panel that separates speech from the aisle as far as it can. Full isolation is rare in an open hall. It is not promised. Sound is a quiet point source so the next stand does not hear the sentence. An array here is a mistake. Light does not blind the sitter and does not fall on the screen if there is one.
Final figures come from the drawing, the current manufacturer datasheet and a test of the room. This page is a design method, not a performance certificate and not a price.
Coordination sequence
An event is a contract in time: install, then strike. Seat, cable and screen are drawn with the visitor’s path, not across it. Power stays inside the hall’s limit. Storage is calculated on the parts, not on a photograph of the stand standing.
A booth is not promised full isolation in an open hall. An outdoor pavilion is shade, drainage and a material that tolerates dust. Temporary hospitality is struck the next day and is not called a royal box.
The exit comes before the capacity is sold. The ground that exists comes before a catalogue fixing. A stand is not attributed to the office unless the project is documented.
This clause goes into the bill of quantities, with the signatory and the date of the test after installation: A fixed seat count, not an “open lounge” with no limit.
This clause goes into the bill of quantities, with the signatory and the date of the test after installation: A level that does not impose itself on the neighbour.
Mistakes that repeat
- A loudspeaker on the floor in the visitor’s path.
Questions about this type
Does a booth need a hearing loop?
If the meeting is formal and includes a hearing-aid user, an assistive system suited to a small area is studied. A loop may work poorly with metal in the exhibition floor. The alternative is chosen after a look, not from a ready list.
Catalogue seats coordinated with this type
The seats shown are catalogue families in their own photographs, chosen with this type on the drawing, not from a separate picture.
- Exhibition standFrom brief to strike: frame, skin, screen, seating and power, as numbered parts.
- Temporary loungeA platform for a tournament or a gala that comes down after the night, with a hospitality seat, not a bowl seat.
- Outdoor pavilionShade, a floor and a seat that tolerates dust. Not an air-conditioned room planted in the sun.
