Cinema
Home cinema
Isolation from bedrooms, a short throw and a small count. A commercial house is not copied into a villa.

The constraint is a neighbour or a bedroom
A home room fails at the door and the duct, not from a lack of speakers. Isolation is studied if the promise is that the rest of the house will not hear the film. The seat may be a cinema line in a small count, not a full public rake. A short-throw projector saves depth and may sit close to the screen, so it is checked that it does not enter the view.
A Dolby room photograph in the archive is a reference for a private type. It does not mean every home becomes that standard, and it does not mean we own the standard. We use the photograph to explain darkness and sitting, not to sell a certificate.
Final figures come from the drawing, the current manufacturer datasheet and a test of the room. This page is a design method, not a performance certificate and not a price.
Coordination sequence
Classify the room first: public cinema, large format, home, or a private screening room. Pitch, isolation and throw change with the class. Copying a cinema into a villa, or a lecture seat into a cinema, are the two most common failures.
Step light does not reach the image. Sound comes from the direction of the picture, not from a side that separates the voice from the face. Isolation from the next room is independent of seat cloth.
Hollywood, Megaseat and Smart numbers stay as the factory published them. An archive photograph is a geometry reference, not a building certificate and not ownership of a standard.
This clause goes into the bill of quantities, with the signatory and the date of the test after installation: Door and duct isolation if the house is occupied during the film.
This clause goes into the bill of quantities, with the signatory and the date of the test after installation: A room count, not a cinema count.
Mistakes that repeat
- Absorbent walls only, then a complaint from the next room.
Questions about this type
Is home cinema a packaged product?
No. It is coordination of seat, screen, sound and isolation to the dimensions of a room that exists. Without measurement the price is a guess. The study starts with a drawing or a survey.
Catalogue seats coordinated with this type
The seats shown are catalogue families in their own photographs, chosen with this type on the drawing, not from a separate picture.
- Commercial cinemaRepeat, pitch, a holder and one maintenance regime for every screen in the complex.
- Large formatA taller screen and a steeper rake. The seat holds the gaze. An ordinary screen is not copied.
- Private screening roomFor a palace or a company: an upholstered seat, step light and sound that does not leave the door.
