Recording rooms
Microphones and monitors come before any audience system.
A recording room fails when the microphone choice is an afterthought, or the monitors do not match the room.
We specify capture, the desk, and nearfield monitoring as one chain. The live room and the control room are designed together.
If the same building also has a hall, that system is a separate brief. We do not ask studio monitors to cover an audience.
